Full-Time Nanny in South Central Austin (Zilker)

Mom and Dad both have busy work lives and we are looking for someone to help us make it all happen over the next several years.”

Sweet family is moving to Austin (Zilker area) from New York and is seeking a Nanny to care for their girls.
Duties will include:

• Providing care for the children, including dressing, preparing meals and snacks, putting down for naps, etc.
• Engaging the children in age-appropriate activities that promote growth and development such as books, music, walks, play, arts/crafts, games, activities, etc. (no screen time)
• Keeping the common areas and children’s area tidy (e.g., wiping down counters, loading/unloading dishwasher throughout the day, doing children’s laundry and folding family laundry)
• Keeping parents apprised of low supplies
• Driving older child to/from school (north Austin) and transporting both children to/from activities (excellent driving record required)

Nanny should be:

• Confident, experienced, and knowledgeable about babies through preschool-age children, and have experience caring for multiple children at the same time
• Reliable and dependable
• A proactive self-starter
• Passionate about caring for children
• Creative and engaging – the children do not have screen time
• Comfortable with dogs, family might get a puppy in the future
• Seeking a long-term position
• Vaccinated: COVID and flu

At least one parent will be working from home every day and one will likely be hybrid.
