FT Live in Nanny in Dallas (75225) Hillcrest/Lovers
While mom is out delivering babies, she is looking for a Live-In Nanny Manager to make sure her 7-year-old daughter and 5-year-old son get all the love and attention they need.
Her particular profession calls for a sort of split shift, primarily during the school
year—someone to be up with the kids at 6:30 a.m. and handle the morning routine—breakfast, dressing, making lunches, and loading backpacks. After dropping the kids off at their respective schools by 8:00 a.m. there are a handful of tasks to tend to, otherwise, you’d be free until school is out in the afternoon at 3:30 p.m. and 3:00 p.m., respectively. These responsibilities include grocery shopping, the kids’ laundry, running errands as needed, and general tidying up. There is a housekeeper who will handle most of the heavy cleaning.
After school pick-up, it’s a matter of getting the kids wherever they need to
be—activities, practices, or a friend’s house to play. When nothing is on the schedule, it’s home for snacks and playtime and homework if necessary. You’ll need to take care of meal prep for the kids, but simple and healthy meals are all that’s asked; nothing fancy requiring lots of steps and ingredients. After dinner, it’s time for bath time and the bedtime round-up—making sure clothes are clean for the next day, papers are signed, backpacks are ready, and anything else that can be done to help the next morning run smoother. Mom is usually home by 7:00 p.m. but needs a fair amount of flexibility to arrive later when deliveries run long.
The kids are delightful, fun, and engaging—the same qualities important to mom in selecting their caregiver. The days will be filled with lots of give and take, but also with a healthy amount of free time during the middle of the day—perfect for someone with a laidback flexible lifestyle. The new school year brings with it lots of excitement and opportunities to try new things; this family is looking forward to all that and more with the addition of a Live-in Nanny Manager added to their mix!
