Full-Time Nanny in West Austin

“We are an easygoing and warm family with two sweet boys. Our oldest is three years old and he’s curious, sensitive, and fun; and our four month old is really expressive and already has a great sense of humor. Mom and Dad will be in and out as we transition to spending more time in-office and to part-time work. We hope to find someone who is good-natured, responsible and warm to fit with the feel of our family.”

Sweet Family is seeking a nanny as Mom returns to work.

Duties will include:

• Providing care, including dressing, changing, feeding/preparing children’s meals and snacks, putting down for naps, etc.
• Engaging the children in age-appropriate indoor and approved outdoor activities, such as books, music, walks, play, arts/crafts, tummy time (baby), games,
• learning activities, etc.
• Keeping the common areas and children’s area tidy (e.g., wiping down counters, loading/unloading dishwasher, clean/sterilize bottles, doing children’s laundry)
• Keeping parents apprised of low supplies (diapers, wipes, etc.)
• Eventually will transport children to/from school and activities
• Child-related organization and/or errands

Nanny should be:

• Confident, experienced, and knowledgeable about babies through preschool age children, and have experience caring for multiple children at the same time
• Caring and kind
• Fun and creative
• Education-minded and stimulating
• Good-natured and easygoing
• Safety-conscious and responsible
• Proactive and self-sufficient
• Follows positive and/or gentle discipline methods
• Confidential and discreet; respectful of the family’s privacy
• Vaccinated – COVID, Tdap and Flu

Dad works full-time (from home and in-office) and Mom is seeking a part-time or full-time position where she will likely work from both home and an office.
