Pay Rate (pre-tax): $30/hr.


Family in University Park (75225) is seeking a proactive, energetic, and highly organized part-time Household Manager/ Personal Assistant. An ideal candidate will be someone who will maintain the home as if it were their own and take initiative to think of improvements for better organization and efficiency. The role will be dynamic in terms of location: driving children (some mid-late afternoon hours necessary), running errands,
working around the home, researching/computer work remotely.
Duties & Requirements: 
The candidate should be an excellent communicator, enjoy being around older children, and always look for ways to help. Duties Include:
·  Household projects. Assistance/coordination with various household projects as they arise (e.g., organization, clean out, holiday decorating, etc.)
· Household maintenance. Keeping a database of household vendors/workers. Setting
appointments for repairs and maintenance and ensuring quality work. Keeping an inventory for the house and restocking with supplies.
· Household organization. Keeping closets, drawers, etc. throughout the house well
organized. Managing donations, selling items.
· Errands. Running various errands for the family such as returns, basic groceries, dry
cleaning, gifts, etc.
·Driving and helping with children. As needed, for two daughters (14 and 10 yrs),
assisting with school pick up and driving to activities, coordinating dinner, helping with
homework if necessary. Packing of luggage, organizing of drawers, closets, and playroom. Develop
a relationship and rapport with them.
· Tidying. As necessary, willing to straighten a pillow, make a bed, empty a dishwasher, take out trash, etc. The family will have a housekeeper.
· Event planning. From time to time, helping to coordinate small events at the home such as fundraisers, meetings, and dinner parties.
· Expense management and maintenance tracking for investment property. For a vacation/rental home, keep track of receipts, invoices, maintenance requirements.
· Filing. Keep well-organized files for the family. Maintain a filing system for household
needs (e.g. car registrations, maintenance contracts, children’s records, etc.)
· Travel planning. Help with researching and booking travel plans.
· Computer / online work. Helping with purchases and returns, digital photo management, various signups, etc.
· Contact database. Maintain contact database for holiday cards.
· Vehicle maintenance. Keep both cars maintained and cleaned.
· Tech-savvy – Online ordering & returns, basic spreadsheets. Resourceful in terms of internet search and online shopping.
· Passionate about good organization
· Demonstrated ability to work productively with all levels of management and vendors
· Discretion and trust around personal matters, files, financials
