Short-Term Nanny Manager in Westlake (with possibility to extend)

Family in Westlake is seeking a flexible, proactive, and nurturing Nanny Manager for their home. Nanny will engage the children in age-appropriate, indoor and outdoor activities, such as games, reading, crafts, going to the park, etc. Household duties will include transporting children from school (2-year-old has school 2 times/week until 1:00pm; excellent driving record required), children’s laundry, children’s meal preparation, errands, keeping common and children’s areas tidy (dishes/dishwasher, counters, sweep, clean up after meals, pick-up, organize, etc.). The ideal candidate will be reliable, have excellent communication skills, and have a positive, can-do attitude. Family is looking for a bilingual candidate (Spanish or Mandarian) so that their youngest will be exposed to another language. Family is particularly careful regarding COVID, and will require employee to wear a mask while working, and will require periodic COVID tests. Position will begin with a 3-month commitment, but family is open to extending long-term (upon completion of the initial assignment) for the right fit. Occasional weekend sitting is available if nanny is interested. Dad currently works from home due to Covid but is hoping to go back to the office soon. Mom is a stay-at-home parent so she will be in and out of the home throughout the day.
NOTE: Candidates must be following all procedures advised by the Center for Disease Control (CDC) for Coronavirus exposure prevention outside of their work hours (masks, hand washing, limiting contact/group sizes, social distancing, etc.). Initial interviews will be conducted virtually using Facetime, Zoom, etc.
