Executive in Evanston is seeking a conscientious, organized full-time housekeeper for his home. Housekeeper will take care of all daily maintenance (making beds, family laundry, cleaning kitchen, dishes, counters, dusting, mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, bathrooms, etc.), as well as the deep cleaning of the home. Housekeeper will also maintain refrigerators and pantry, monitor inventory, shop for food and supplies as needed, and drop off/pick up dry cleaning. Candidate will organize and maintain closets, pantry, etc. Home and coach house on property are quite large in total, but employer travels every other week, so there is ample time to keep up with daily and deep cleaning duties. On weeks when employer is home, his two teenage children (a third is in college) and two medium dogs (Portuguese Water Dogs) will be in the home as well. Additional duties when they are home include walking the dogs, waking the children up for remote learning (Dad leaves for the office by 6:15am), and preparing lunch as needed (although they are fairly self-sufficient). The ideal candidate will be proactive/self-directed, efficient, demonstrate exceptional integrity, and have excellent communication skills.
NOTE: Candidates must be following all procedures advised by the Center for Disease Control (CDC) for Coronavirus exposure prevention outside of their work hours (masks, hand washing, limiting contact/group sizes, social distancing, etc.). Initial interviews will be conducted virtually using Facetime, Zoom, etc.
