Family in Evanston is seeking a warm and kind Nanny for their infant son. Nanny will be confident, capable and experienced in all areas of infant and baby care including bottle preparation, feeding, diapering, putting down for naps, developmental milestones, etc. Nanny will engage the child in creative and fun indoor and outdoor activities and play that encourage development. Candidate will also clean bottles, take care of baby’s laundry, keep the changing table stocked and clean, and keep common areas tidy (dishes/dishwasher, counters, play areas, etc.). Parents appreciate an experienced caregiver who will bring knowledge, expertise, and suggestions, but will also follow the lead of the parents. The ideal candidate will be calm, positive, loving, reliable/punctual, and an excellent communicator (parents would like a daily log or app to track). Nanny will navigate stressful situations in a level-headed manner, and be honest and open about any mistakes or things that didn’t go well. Dad and Mom are both working from home (temporarily because of COVID), but once it’s safe to return to workplaces, both will likely continue to work from home at least one day per week.
NOTE: Candidates must be following all procedures advised by the Center for Disease Control (CDC) for Coronavirus exposure prevention outside of their work hours (masks, hand washing, limiting contact/group sizes, social distancing, etc.). Initial interviews will be conducted virtually using Facetime, Zoom, etc.
