Family in West University is seeking a caring, nurturing and education-minded nanny for their baby. Nanny must be confident and experienced in all aspects of baby and toddler care, with knowledge of age-appropriate, enriching activities, that will encourage growth and development. Nanny will provide expert guidance regarding the scheduled routine, and training/education in child development or a related field is a big plus. Household duties will include light housework (tidying, counters, dishwasher/dishes, sweep floors, laundry), baby gear and toy cleaning/maintenance, errands and preparing meals for child (purees, cook and cut meat/vegetables/fruits, etc.). The ideal candidate will be proactive and have a can-do attitude (not wait to be told what to do), as well as be active, engaging, and education-focused. Dependability and flexibility are also very important, and family is seeking a long-term fit. Parents work full time as medical professionals. Family has a very large indoor dog (Newfoundland). He may attend some days at doggy daycare, but nanny would be responsible for feeding/water, as well as letting the dog out/in. Family also has two indoor cats.
NOTE: Candidates must be following all procedures advised by the Center for Disease Control (CDC) for Coronavirus exposure prevention outside of their work hours (masks, hand washing, limiting contact/group sizes, social distancing, etc.). Initial interviews will be conducted virtually using Facetime, Zoom, etc.
