Full or Part Time Housekeeper in Dallas (75225) Preston/Lovers
Dust bunnies be gone!
Life is about to change for us come early July when we welcome our first child, and we are looking to have a jump on getting and keeping things clean and organized before our new bundle arrives. We are looking for a part- to full-time housekeeper for our home in Highland Park for a working soon-to-be mom and dad. One of us works from home and the other alternates between home and the ‘real’ office. We’ve got full-time baby care already arranged, so for now, you’re free from diaper duty! (Though we can discuss help with the baby later on if you’re interested.)
Our home is 4,000 sq. ft. with 4 bedrooms and 5-1/2 baths as well as 2 home offices. It’s two-story so you’ll get a bit of cardio in throughout the day as a bonus! We only have guests maybe once a month (though probably a bit more in the first few weeks after the baby arrives), so the guest rooms require very little maintenance. Most of our cleaning and organizing work is needed in our master bedroom, the kitchen, family room, and the nursery when the baby arrives (so maybe you will see a diaper now and then!).
We try to keep things picked up and put away, but even the best intentions get pushed aside sometimes when life gets busy. And that’s why you would be so truly valuable to our family! We need a partner to help keep all the balls in the air, so to speak. Sure, there’s general cleaning to keep the rooms tidy and a fair dose of overall household management (mostly inventory tracking and maintenance) to keep our pantries stocked and fridges full, but we’ve got a few special requests, too. Our collection of antiques and silver needs the occasional touch of tender loving care. This means being extra careful when cleaning all the nooks and crannies of delicate pieces and polishing the silver to help it sparkle and shine. It’s not an all-day/everyday event, just an as needed task with special consideration. The same holds true for the down-and-dirty deep cleaning—just on occasion and just as needed.
Laundry is an on-going responsibility (isn’t it for everyone?!) as are running the errands necessary to keep things running smoothly. (We know—gas is crazy expensive right now; we’ll handle that!) Meal prep is occasional, usually a simple breakfast before we get to work.
It’s about to be an exciting time at our house and we want you here for it! There’ll be bottles and blankets, gifts and goodies—and your help will be more valuable than ever. We hope to make it a long-term relationship and that you can look back years from now and say, “I remember when you came home from the hospital,” to our first-born!
