Busy family in The Woodlands is seeking an energetic, organized, and creative Nanny to work alongside Mom. Nanny must be experienced, confident, and capable in all areas of infant care (feeding, dressing, bathing, soothing, changing, putting down for naps, etc.) and have experience with multiple children. Candidate must be adventurous, playful, love being in the outdoors (even in the heat), and not reliant on screens to keep the older children engaged. Nanny will take children to the park, neighborhood splash pad, blow up the bouncy house in the backyard, do puzzles, play with play doh, and engage the boys in plenty of imaginative play such as telling stories, singing songs, going on “rescue missions”, and whatever else you can dream up! Candidates will be willing and physically able to get down on the floor with the children, carry around an infant and/or toddler, and have a can-do attitude. The ideal candidate will take initiative and be self-motivated, have a great sense of humor, a strong and resilient personality (without being overbearing), and be self-aware and able to “read the room”.
Nanny must also prioritize safety, cleanliness, and guiding/demonstrating good hygiene practices (frequent hand washing, covering coughs/sneezes, no drinking/eating after each other). Nanny must be fully COVID vaccinated, willing to get the Flu vaccine, and preference will be given to a candidate with a recent TDap vaccine. Dad works full time outside the home and Mom does not work outside the home.
