Sweet family in Tarrytown is seeking a nurturing, professional nanny for their home. Nanny will be confident, capable, and experienced with all aspects of baby and toddler care, and will engage the child in age-appropriate activities to promote growth and development. Nanny will follow a schedule for feeding, naps, etc. Parents are currently working from home because of COVID precautions, but when Mom is able to spend time with baby, nanny may be asked to run errands, do grocery shopping, etc. The ideal candidate will be loving, conscientious, have a positive can-do attitude, and be proactive. Family has one dog (Labradoodle), but the nanny will not be responsible for any pet duties. Nanny must also have a passport and be willing to travel (typically 2-3 week long trip in summer, one week-long trip after Christmas, and then a few weekend trips during the year).
NOTE: Candidates must be following all procedures advised by the Center for Disease Control (CDC) for Coronavirus exposure prevention outside of their work hours (masks, hand washing, limiting contact/group sizes, social distancing, etc.). Initial interviews will be conducted virtually using Facetime, Zoom, etc.
Special requests around COVID-19:
Nanny will need to obtain a negative COVID test prior to starting. In addition, family would prefer the nanny to reside in their guest house (3 BR, 2 BA, has a yard that could accommodate a dog) to quarantine for 3 weeks at a time, with the 4th week to return to their own homes (following all CDC guidelines). They are flexible to accommodate a spouse/partner if needed (working from home), and they are open to a long-term, full-time live-in option as well. If this is not an option for you, but you are being very strict about your COVID precautions, please explain in detail.
